    Community Leadership Panel

There are so many people in Bristol who have skin in the game when it comes to the climate and social issues. There are leaders who know what challenges face their communities, and are working to overcome them. So why do they often not have a seat at the table?

  • About 30 people stand in a circle in a large room. The room has white tiling floor.

    WESTACT

We know that transport is one of the biggest hurdles in Bristol’s response to the climate emergency. Emilia’s time with WESTACT outside of Praxis Research works to jump that hurdle, and platform unheard voices in transport conversations in the West of England.

  • Four people sit in an allotment space, surrounded by thriving green plants. The people are writing on post-it notes and chatting.

    Bristol School of Commoning

    Community Transport Vision

We have heard time and again that Bristol needs better transport. We were delighted to support the Bristol Climate & Nature Partnership to develop a Bristol Transport Vision based on Community Climate Action Plans.

    Democracy in City Leap

The City Leap partnership is a key step in Bristol’s journey towards becoming carbon neutral. We are exploring how this could be an opportunity to put democracy and justice at the heart of our city’s Net Zero strategy.

  • Five young people are discussing something very animatedly.

    Mock COP

Young people have an essential role to play in our climate future. We designed and hosted a model climate conference to give Bristol sixth formers a space to make their voices heard.
